Went on the walk this afternoon and there was indeed cava and four different varieties of cake served from the back of a NT landrover along the way (tea for those who didn't want alcohol).
Led by Ros Cleal and Matilda Webb, the curator and assistant curator of the the Alexander Keiller Museum - the weather was warm and breezy, it was a perfect afternoon out. I also learnt quite a bit more about the Avebury landscape.
