It's a stunning book and I'm tempted to see if I can get the gazetteer printed & bound professionally as long as they don't think I'm trying to break copyright. Can't digest all that in front of a PC screen. Many hours of winter reading coming up.

We agree, somehow the "curled up" visceral reading experience just can't be replicated electronically, even using eReaders or iToys.

It would be lovely to see a nice colour hard copy of the gazetteer. We're sure there would be no shortage of takers here if a short print run could be arranged, if the RCAHMS were OK about the copyright that is.
