We agree, somehow the "curled up" visceral reading experience just can't be replicated electronically, even using eReaders or iToys.
It would be lovely to see a nice colour hard copy of the gazetteer. We're sure there would be no shortage of takers here if a short print run could be arranged, if the RCAHMS were OK about the copyright that is.
