funny that ...

I get outraged when I see people being dominated by others ... it pisses me off with incinerators, by-passes, racists *AND* dodgy landowners ...

I can't help thinking there's an attitude of "well, it's a shame, but what everybody else was doing it, and what lovely stones!"

Is there a blindness to infringing other peoples human rights when the result is a landscape that pleases us more? I've heard about similar things happening in "eco-tourism" areas, where locals are being dispossessed to provide a more "Natural" landscape for visitors ...

anyway, what's happening with the next big Silbury "visit"?
