It's commonsense and respect through education thats needed mate not hard and fast rules. No organization can protect all the sites all of the time no matter how well funded, its whats carried in the visitors minds thats the real issue.

Druids have no special right to perform their rites at circles (imho) anyway but i fully support their freedom to do so if thats what (excuse the pun) 'lights their fire' and its done in an appropriate manner.
Only a really foolish druid would light any kind of fire in a confined space anyway, flowing robes etc.

No matter what any of us post here on this issue someone will disagree cos its all opinions isnt it regardless of what the law says. If the law was working this thread wouldn't even exist. !
