welcome to the home for the confused! I don't know if Durham has got them but Winch Cath is full of the wildest secular carvings. Hundreds of tiny faces, often grotesque, beggars, acrobats, cripples, characatures, and somewhat surprisingly loads of green men including a (possibly?) unique full figure in the quire. It's a pity that the Megalith builders didn't put more carvings on their stones as can you imagine what the on going arguments would be like!
