Hopefully local planners are now beginning to see past the hype and the bogus green credentials. cheers fitz In this instance the scale was too large, and incredibly destructive of a peatland area; almost as if someone had said hey we don't want it in our backyard lets sling it on one of the Islands, and the greed by the developers was sickmaking; but like Jane says we have to face up to the question of climate change, who is going to make the change? Tony Juniper in an article about shifting values, says that the marjority of people won't do things voluntarily, yet if we are moving towards the disaster of climate change, then perhaps we have to take on board the multi-nationals and all their nasty ways - the 'dark side' and learn to turn them towards our advantage...
