George writes of the Kings Men stones that, "We have rescued the bits and are discussing with English Heritage the best way to restore them (we hope remaining cracks won't lead to more loss but we're not sure)."
Failing assistance from English Heritage the Rollright Trust might consider dropping a line to the Conservation Department at the British Museum (either to the Keeper of Conservation or to the Chief Conservator, Stones Section). Though the conservators at the BM might not be able to provide (in an official capacity) any practical help I think the Trust will find they'll be more than happy to advise on anything they can - and they'er usually pretty quick in doing so.
