I was originally looking at the trade links between Scotland and Ireland, after reading of the large number of Antrim axes found in Aberdeenshire. There are a number of papers out there on this, but I have only found a few extracts so far.

It would be interesting to discover if they were actually used or merely exchange . Aberdeenshire also had a healthy trade with SW Europe , hence the Jadeite , also found in D&G etc . It looks like all the N.Atlantic areas were on regular visiting terms whether it's sharing burial traditions or trade .
