hmm all very interesting. Kendric seems more likely as a name (well so it seems on Google, as Kenric brings up something quite different altogether). But then K isn't really a Welsh letter is it? it should be Cendric?

With the alleged footprint, an inaugural kind of story would fit very well, indeed. But then it's in the church, so it has to be made into a religious story, hence the 'pilgrimage' thing mentioned, I suppose.

(ah it's all bollux anyway isn't it. just thought it was a bit strange that the story had changed so much.)
