| I think I'll go and weld the bastard back in place!! If you're going to make a concerted effort in protecting somewhere, then protect it properly. I know there's a problem, but I'm buggered if I know the solution. Perhaps EH could look at custodians from the local population, or Mobile Wardens from their own organisation. If EH paid me £50 a year to go some where just down the road and condition survey it and tidy up, I'd do it! Not a lot in Essex mind you..........!! Interestingly, whenever I go to sites on private land, they are usually far better maintained in respect of litter and vadalism. Mind you farmers have guns................
