Eightercua in Kerry is another option for those who may be way out west. If it all falls foul tomorrow I might take that crazy trip from Newgrange to Drombeg on Thurs instead! Im not going to make it up this year. I have my xmas party in dublin tomorrow night. Im taking the solstice as being the 22nd (mainly coz it suits me this year) and should hopefully see the sunrise from a beach near killiney (if I can get up), heading back down to Cork later on the 22nd and Im going to head to Drombeg to watch the sunset (mainly because I roughly know where it is and its well signed posted as far as I know), Saturday morning Im going to head up to the stone circle in Baurnaglanna and if I can talk someone into it coming with me I hope to post them up at Baurnadroomey (still cant spell it).
