Stonehenge: Uncovered?

Just caught the end of a program on Irish TV station RTE called 'Stonehenge Uncovered' or something like that over the weekend, though I missed most of it the climax of the program seemed to be a simulation with Atari ST graphics showing that the sun shone through a window, viewed from the heel stone but above this window there's another, larger window where the moon shone through at the time Stonehenge was built and that these two events combined was the purpose of building Stonehenge. It sounded like the wonter solstice, rather than the summer solstice was the real event Stonehenge was built for, maybe I picked it up wrong.

Anyone else see this documentary, and what to make of it?
