OGS Crawford ( http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/images/catalogue/ogs.jpg ) who camped out here in summer 1919 excavated and exposed the two stone circles so they did (or do under the turf) exist. OGS also did a report on the long cairns and the cairn circle (the 'lickle' Bryn Cader Faner) just up the hill. Did you see the ring cairn?
