| Hi all, I'm new here so sorry if this is a bit off topic or has alread been covered somewhere but does anyone remember being in Avebury in the summer of the late 70s ( summer of 76-79) for a whole pig roasting? I used to live in one of the houses on what was Wallaces Farm at Winterbourne Monkton back then and went to infant school in Avebury and I have some vague memories of a whole pig roasting on a spit at a festival of some kind. Does anyone remember the exact year that happened? I know it made the local press as I have a clipping from the newspaper but sadly no date.
