Well, I've always enjoyed talking to the folks there whenever I've gone - they've always been warm and welcoming.
I'm often disappointed by the rivalry between various 'stoneys'. We can have disputes and disagreements but for heavens sake... it's the sites themselves that matter and, whatever the politics, I have a lot of respect for the dedicated people who look after them.
Strikes me that those who give up their time to man the Rollright visitor hut need a bit of shelter right now. You can pick up a pretty decent shed for few hundred pounds and that'll do for the time being - I for one don't mind bunging a cheque in the post for a few quid towards that.
