We visited Belas Knap Mid October (2005) arriving in time for a beautiful sunset. As we were walking around taking photos we spotted some disturbance on the left hand side bank (looking from the 'false entrance').
We had a look in but couldn't see very much so, with an appology to any small creatures or spirits we may have been disturbing, we stuck the camra in an took some pictures to post on this site and see what other people thought.
Is there any information about how far the ministry of works excavated before they reconstructed or what Bellas Knap was like before reconstruction?
The course stones above the entrance to the chamber seems like an archway, with the upright stones wedged together to allow at least a meter of cavity gap.
It would be realy interesting to have a look inside with some sort of keyhole camera or "majic eye" to see how far it does go if anyones got access to that sort of thing.
