D' y' think it's possible that the Bords just got their references and site mixed up? I've been thru Campbell's "Strange Things" today (awesome work on the folklore & spiritualism of Eriskay) and can find nowt in it about the bowing stone there. ...And my memory's not what it used to be either! Sounds distinctly like the one on Uist is the site they were on about.
