The Key; The Circus with its Druidical centre of trees, straight bit is Gay Street leading to the square which is Queens Square.
Royal Crescent is the moon, with the Circus also functioning as the Sun?.. Around the frieze of the Circus are the "secret" signs of the freemasons (for goodness sake)..
Another question, "The Celtic Head" at the roman baths, is described by Ross as a gorgons head, but it is also very solar like with its snakelike rays of hair, so did Wood know about the head, had it been discovered by then..
