| Yes, I don't think I could put your post any better Peter, especially your, "The Anglo-Saxon mass replacement and extermination of the "Celts" is also now seen to be greatly exaggerated." I caught a snippet of information somewhere that said that the very flexible word order of English is due to a 'Celtic' influence - wish I'd made a note of that as it's something, which if true, is both fascinating and important.
