Using a piece of flint and a fine abrasive I got bored before I'd made even a mark on it.
One thing I did discover though,, in no time at all the surface of the sarsen became fantastically smooth - a glistening glass-like reflective finish, not far off polished marble. So I figure, maybe, the original Stonehenge shimmered and glistened magically...
