You can try the psycho-analytical approach all you like to get me to stop questioning your opinions (And incidentally, you don't come across as exactly calm yourself), the fact remains that this symbol HAS changed in meaning, probably for centuries to come, and for most people (I really don't think that is an exagerration) it IS highly offensive.
Whether or not you can respect that FACT is irrelevant.
Add to that the fact that Crowley scrawls it on ancient sites and you have a pretty infuriating combination.
He cannot excuse what he does. It is self-centred, deliberately provocative (Why else would he post here about burying crystals at Stonehenge?) and he needs to stop.
Do English Heritage know he has buried crystals there? I think they should..
