Hi Blonde,

Don't know the route you were taking, but the waterfall sounds nice.

Try this link:-

http://www.multimap.com/map/br[...]=10000&up.x=185&up.y=4

(It should be the NE end of Penmaenmawr)

and look for Mountain Lane in the bottom centre. You need to follow this all the way to the top, where it ends at the Jubilee Towers on Foel Lus. From the towers, walk along the farm track uphill in an easterly direction; when the road forks, follow it round to the right. You will see a signpost to the circle at this point, on the right. Go along the path keeping the stone wall to your left. Admire the remains of Red Farm Stone Circle in a field to the left, and the standing stone in the next field up, opposite the Bryn Derwydd farmhouse on your right.

Passing the farmhouse, turn right at the Scots Pines, and follow the track up to the gate. Pass through the gate, and follow the track to the left. A handy signpost will keep you on the appropriate path, the one that curves to the right. Keep going, and presently you will be enchanted by Circle 275, then the Druid's Circle on the horizon. Piece of cake!
