I was afraid you'd think I was stepping on your toes, or attacking you.

I am definately right - I've passed the broch umpteen times (it's part of my prefered route south from home in fact) and I've been across. When the river's too high to ford safely, you can get there easily along a path on the other side of the river. It goes past the house on the bend just past the Glen Loth turn off on the A9.

If you look up the broch on canmore, you can see the sheepfold clearly marked immediately to its south too.
