A huge circular crop mark lies undisturbed in a field on the edge of the fens near Peterborough. Archaeologists believe it is Neolithic, something they call a causewayed enclosure. But there's more... Huge ditches mark out the circle, which could be as much as 6,000 years old. Some believe these circles are remnants of early farming, others that they represent some kind of religious site.

Francis Pryor, the presenter of Britain AD and Britain BC, joins the team, who have just three days to explore as much of this enigmatic structure as possible. In the bottom of the ditches, they hope to find the evidence they need to answer the riddle this landscape poses. Bones, leftover meals and ancient rubbish dumps all play a part in the investigation. Using all the techniques and expertise they can muster, can the team solve the dispute?

Presenter: Tony Robinson."
