Why 'bugger'? It's the same stone, easily visible from the road, and there's more than enough evidence that it has been there for hundreds of years - long enough for ancient stories about it to have been coined locally. Beautiful setting, and there's a lot of other neolithic remains in the area, from cairns to cup-marked rocks.
