Well, it's how we learned the guitar - that twangy surf sound had a minor renaissance with Man or Astroman (and others) a couple of years back. Dick Dale still rules the waves ...
'Weedon' Hill fails as it is clearly another version of 'Waden'.
'Wooden' seems a better derivation than a real name or 'Woden'.
