Not strictly true. The two cultures of the time are very closely linked, if not the same.

That is still a necessity for absolute certainty.

I wasn't using the C&Rs to push them back to the Neolithic, just further back in time to probably the LBA.

The wedge tomb at Burren in Leitrim has a reused C&R stone in its roof, making that particular one pre 2500 bce.
