Hob's just copied me Stukeley in the original. I want to copy that style - 'puritan tract' - for my 2005 almanac.
Silbury Hill through the long lens shows how the horizon is levelled, in this view, by the hill. Flat top. If the middle, in this picture, is the intended alignment where will the moon set - on say the 28th - when the azimuth of the moon is two degrees short (to the north). Will it catch Silbury Hill or not ? I know it'll probably be raining.
If I solarise someone's view of Avebury - max moonrise view - then I could post it as 'other'.
