| Cheers again matey I was working on the assumption/theory that the road/trackway to the crossing point of the river was there before the henges were built. If you follow the route of the A6 south from the henge, you come across all sorts of megalithic remains. And just north of the river you seem to have a major intersection of a number of ancient routes.
