I meant there are no shops & pubs etc . . things to bear in mind when planning a 'holiday'.
As for megalithicness . . if you stand at Callanish, you can see the three other circles.. so, uncluding the main site, you can see (on a clear day) FOUR stone circles.
I wonder if there is anywhere else where you can feasably see four seperate stone circles at once without visual aid? Not even Cork I think;-)
