True enough, although the Giza Pyramids and Thornboro Henges weren't representations of stars presumably so the impulsion (if it existed) was to represent the pattern rather than the stars themselves.

I'm intrigued by Steve's perspective that they might be an arc - or better still, what would be a magnificent circle. I'd assume the whole area has been checked over so thoriughly with geophyz that there can't be any evidence - or can there? Were these found purely because of the construction of the carpark? Maybe there ARE others, but they'd only show up if there was excavation of the whole area?
