| Hi There, I've also been looking for this stone, but without much success. The only evidence I have have is on the 25k OS Map for Chorley (sheet SD 51). This is Blue Stone Lane linking Eccleston & Mawdesley and Blue Stone Farm at SD504-152. Looking at the 1st edition O.S. map from the 19 centuary, Blue Stone Farm appears as Dark Lane End House and Blue Stone Lane is not named but appears as a continuation of either Tinklers Lane from Ecclestion or Syd Brook Lane from Croston. I can only assume that Blue Stone is a contempory name, for the farm and the lane took its name from the farm. I would be interested if anyone knows any different.
