Why, thanks very much, chaps!

It really is a superb location. What really struck us was the absolute peace and quiet... I went for a wander just outside the circles (there's a wee stone row disappearing a metre or so from the - I think it was the west side - I wanted to search for remains of the row further out, and there are some others!) and I just found myself standing, staring, for about 5 minutes or so... I didn't want to move...

I'll try to dig out some other photos. Equidistant (to the naked eye, anyway) to the north(ish) and south(ish) are two tors - Down Tor and Gutter Tor, maybe? - and what really struck us was that it seemed like the stones were placed central to these for a reason. We had no way of verifying it, of course, but it just *felt* like that.

I'll try to find a photie of the tors...
