Hi Chris... yes, I know of that stone. Is it over Green Crag way? The Pitchfork Rock is at Green Gates, east of the Badger Stone, and looks like a pair of American Football posts with a cup in the middle. There's quite a few carved rocks here, all on vertical surfaces. This is the area in which the spring rises that flows around Willy Halls Wood. I hope to be back around those parts over Easter and want to do a bit more poking around Green Gates, as it's a fascinating area.

It's also said that nearby Cowper's Cross (a 12th C cross which marks the spot of and old market, which was supposed to have replaced an even older market at the Badger Stone), has cup marks in it's base... but I've looked n' not seen them... maybe weathered off now?
