Yeah Fitz, some interesting points there up for discussion. Anyone would think you had a lot of time on your hands to dream up these wanderings ;-)

RE Wooden standing stones - would these be like totem poles?

RE Lake district circles have no lake view - is it cos they is ploughed? The lower, more moist ground next to the lakes has probably undergone more changes than the areas above...?

RE Rockart pecking - interesting point about the unfinished style being possibly intentional.

I haven't forgotten about the tape, I'm just useless ;-)
