Interestingly a search of Pastscape reveals a number of "Ring Barrows" in West Penwith, very close to where Bladup lives. More than in any other part of England. There's a lot of crossover with ring ditches and disc barrows though, it seems.

The problem is TSC that most don't appear to have been heavily mounded or ditched and consequently just animal movements have flattened a great many over the years making it now difficult to distinquish between the two, plus the plough on occasions as well I suppose. 4,000 years is a long time for a not so prominent feature to be laid to waste!
