Interestingly a search of Pastscape reveals a number of "Ring Barrows" in West Penwith, very close to where Bladup lives. More than in any other part of England. There's a lot of crossover with ring ditches and disc barrows though, it seems. http://www.pastscape.org.uk/Se[...]2&rtype=&rnumber=&typeselect=c The problem is TSC that most don't appear to have been heavily mounded or ditched and consequently just animal movements have flattened a great many over the years making it now difficult to distinquish between the two, plus the plough on occasions as well I suppose. 4,000 years is a long time for a not so prominent feature to be laid to waste!
