I'll bet there's something in Gwenhyfar's Chair - near the top. Glacial debris, of all sizes, usually ends up on the flat side, like a piece of toast. The grooves are supposedly the marks of the comb that she deflected the rock with. (Just that myth alone suggests the stone was raised). Has anyone measured its height ?
