Hi FW,

Have you read 'The Silbury Treasure' by Michael Dames? The base of the mound has radiating twine, laid out like spokes, and the construction has much evidence of ritualism, this would point to other than a fort, in any case, wasn't the landscape of Avebury created in peace time?
