Jeremy Corbyn

Not sure how much of a chance he has, but but a hope at least he gets to make an impact in the contest and inspire some debate. It's a sign of the times that someone with his views and dedication is perceived as an anachronism.

I fully expect the shitty papers to give him a hard time too.

Just seen Dianne Abbott say on This Week (cough) that she watched the hustings of leadership candidates in Nuneaton with apparently an audience chosen because they hadn't voted Labour at the election and it was Corbyn who got most applause. I'm sure that I'm not the only one disenchanted with Labour because it has become a party lead by arselicking quasi-Tories who will be heartened by that. But the leadership process is a different beast to public opinion. My attitude to the other candidates is 'gawd'. Yvette Cooper is the 'best' of them, and who I think will get the job... looks like I'm carrying on voting Green.
