Federal government to stop interfering with medical pot suppliers

It's not legalization, or even nationwide decriminalization, but it's a solid step forward for those states who permit doctors to prescribe medical marijuana. Lead story today on NORML:

I'm confused as to how this can happen anwyay.
Fron what I read there computers and cannabis and money were seized but no arrests were made because obviously medical use is legal in the particular state anyway. Which means there will be proper regulation etc surrounding the practice, and properly appointed medical bods will be involved (I assume). Which amounts to an arbitrary smash and grab type thing.
Fuck sake. Sounds like the sort of thing Mugabe gets up to.
