No, but how do you actually know for sure that some of those involved re the Xmas tree burn down wern't just arseholes looking for an excuse to riot? It's a Xmas Tree FFS!
I don't think the two things even compare at all.
It actually demeans the importance of what he was writing about.
The town he was writing about was probably burned down as a sign of unity.
I mean try having a go at some government property if you REALLY mean it.
People 'out Xmas shopping are an easier targert though, eh?

I'm sure some of them were just arseholes looking to have a good old barney. It's also possible that some of them were acting on behalf of the Greek Government to try to provoke the sort of reaction I'm reading here. That happened on the poll tax riots. Remember?
