Could have been a huge PR stunt> (;,,;)

After all, not allowed to advertise sweeties before 6pm(?) and this basically got Masterfoods 2 weeks of advertising on primetime news.

Either way, I'm glad I can have my mars ice-creams back on the summer menu hehe

I'm usually cynic no.1 but can such a huge brand like Mars really sell more chocolate after such a negative episode?
It does seem like a strange thing to do, to announce you're going to make your product less palatable to people. I personally don't feel any less or more likely to buy their stuff now, but they've not gone up in my estimation. It's not like they need the exposure, surely.
I can see your point but it's a funny way of getting publicity.

I wouldn't be surprised!
I mean, what they say they were planning would've taken years and loadsa dosh, so how come they can change their whole proposed production methods so swiftly after a few complaints?
Are they trying to tell us 'we listen to the people, see!' ?
I mean, where has all that rennet they must've had at the ready gone?
Have they had to slaughter millions of innocent mars bars becasue of this...?
