Man - Back Into the Future
Just started reading Rhinos Winos and Lunatics. I think I might be listening to a lot of Man over the next week or two.
The Meters - Very Best Of
Sam and Dave - The Best Of
Il Balletto Di Bronzo - Ys
Put onto this fabulous prog album by John Westhaver from The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol on his very fine radio show:

Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Julian Cope - Drunken Songs
Funny in parts and good hearted, but I find this pretty underwhelming for the most part I'm afraid.
Vinyl:
Pigs Pigs Pigs PigsPigs Pigs Pigs - Feed the Rats
Proper rock. Simple but genius, the riff returns. Absolutely love it. Ace cover too.
Joe Gibbs - African Dub All-Mighty
One of the all time greatest dub albums, with a totally iconic cover.
Ike and Tina Turner - Tough Enough
My, Tina was a complete force of nature back then, a whirlwind of energy and power. Here she is in an abusive relationship with Ike, and she's singing songs with him about women in abusive relationships...
Necro Deathmort - EP1, EP3
Picked these up for peanuts in the Distraction Records sale (I think, sadly, they may be closing for business). EP1 is interesting, but pretty harsh on the ears in places. EP3 on the other hand is a whole lot more listenable, without losing an out-there edge. Some lovely electronic sounds on here. I will give EP1 more of a chance btw - I've only had the one listen so may be jumping to conclusions.
