AP's singing is a lot more Ian Curtis than Hall or Oates.

The music has some similarities to H&O (80's beats, squishy synth hooks) . . . if those two were mopey goths who wrote everything in a minor key and recorded in their mom's basement!

Though if you're allergic to mid-70's/early-80's pop sounds (or pseudo-Brit singing from an American), then indeed you might want to stay away!
