A broken cross in reference to which cross, is the question. There is no correct cross form and even Christians themselves have used various forms at differing times and places. You could make a better case for the swastika/suavastika being a broken solar wheel if you want to go that route. The presently accepted cross in the West is more the bastardised form of the putative Christian form in any case.
