It's a bit of good and bad news really. The bad news is that there was not enough evidence to uphold the old right of way. This had become overgrown and was illegally blocked, so no one used it.

The good news is that the state of the original route meant that over the years lots of people have taken alternative routes. Consequently, when the council update their new maps in the Spring there will be three, maybe four, rights of way to Kiltiernan portal tomb marked on it. Hurrah!!!!
