Replying to Hob

Was at Penshaw monument yesterday and you can see where quarrying has taken place. Not able to find the burial mound. Did not realise you could walk round into where the bikes go.
I did not realise you can see that far on a clear day.
No evidence what so ever.

Been some good clear views in the last week or two. You can see Simonside from Penshaw (At least I assume so, cos you can see Penshaw from Simonside...) And Around here, anywhere that has a good view of Simonside has a decent chance of there having been burial mounds and stuff.
