Couldn't have put it better.

I wanna see a nice glossy 'coffee-table' book at some point. The public demand it. It would make a lovely counterpoint to the eqully fine b&w efforts in 'Megaliths' by Corio and Corio.

How does he do it ?
I go out early but they don't come out like these

I think the colour pix in Circles of Stone by Max Milligan take some beating but Ken manages to surpass even those!

and .....it's a shame the Megaliths book doesn't include any Scottish sites.

Watch this space, I'm considering sending out feelers in the future....

I've been thinking about getting this book, its good then? What areas does it cover and is it purely photos or is there some text too?

I have the Max Milligan/Aubrey Burl book on order for ages, Waterstones told me it was out of print. I've seen some of the photos on Milligan's own website though and heard his interview with Andy B. I cant wait to see the book, I think his style is quite different to my own. I tend to picture the 'whole' and dont tend towards close ups and abstracts, it doesn't naturally occur to me to divide up something that was purposely constructed to a particular shape and design. I'm a 'stand back and take it all in' kind of guy :-)

I have a mint condition copy, barely read, which I'm giving away for the cost of postage.

This is it here.

It's a big heavy book though, 1.8kg without any packaging, so the cheapest postage I can find is 7 quid via Parcelmonkey.

If anyone wants this, please let me know asap or it's off to the charity shop!
