An unusual sight/site

When I visted [[Marble Hill]] ages back I nearly climbed the nearby hill to check out a stone circle marked on the map. mid-west circles tend to be rather knackered and I couldn't see an easy way up. Just found this image and wish I had made more of an effort now :-)

Looks like a beautiful place to keep firewood.

I see you've gone for the obscure Irish spelling of the site's name (the one with double brackets around it). Some of the Welsh sites have that as well.

The site wasn't really accessible until last year, when the farmer cleared most of the furze and scrub off the hill. I've gone back there since to take more photos but I haven't posted them yet. (I might rescan the snaps that you linked to - the scans look a bit ropey)
