If it's on an esker then it's quite probably glacial deposits forming the lumps. That said, the nice mound in Drumnigh, Co Dublin, was thought to be a natural mound until they quarried near it. It turned out to be one of the most incredible mounds found anywhere.

I figured that but you know tipp its big farming countryside, you would think it would have been ploguhed or bulldozed out by now. Ill do some more investigations when I get a chance.
